Louis Cicalese Cemetery President of Hudson Cemetery Crematory Foundation Work

Crematory foundation work and Mausoleum concrete work recently completed at Hudson Cemetery & Crematory

“Cremation is used for about 50 percent of all burials in our area. A crematory at this location better serves the Funeral Directors in the surrounding area because of its convenient location. The turn-around time will be faster.” – Louis Cicalese, Cemetery President

Hudson Cemetery & Crematory has recently completed the foundation work for the new crematory as well as the concrete work for a new mausoleum. These renovations are taking place to better serve the families of the surrounding area.

Hudson Cemetery & Crematory currently offers in-ground burial services as well as above-ground crypts. The introduction of the option of a mausoleum as well as the crematory will give families more choices when deciding what is best for their loved one. The crematory and mausoleum will also address the need for more affordable burial options, as well as conserve green space to extend the life of the cemetery.

Upon completion of the crematory foundation, cemetery president Louis Cicalese stated, “Cremation is used for about 50 percent of all burials in our area. A crematory at this location better serves the Funeral Directors in the surrounding area because of its convenient location. The turn-around time will be faster.”

The exterior plans for the new crematory building include stacked stone veneer, stucco and stone exterior siding, dormers, and wood accents. The crematory building will be a visually appealing addition to the cemetery grounds and will help to better serve people in the Northern New Jersey and New York City area.
